Sermon Series: “True Repentance Is The Message God Is Waiting For His People To Receive!”

At Acts 3:19, God Promises every believer in Christ Jesus “Times of Refreshing,” but many believers today have never heard of nor experienced this awesome blessedness, while others rarely have entered in, because they lack “True Repentance” in the Presence of Almighty God. America and every nation under the sun needs to awaken to experience Spiritual Renewal that only comes about by “True Repentance.

Good Morning Saints and Happy Sunday!

Amidst the overwhelming wickedness and chaos in our Society today, more than ever before as the People of God we must humbly turn back to God to receive “Times of Refreshing;” spiritual transformation within our Churches and healing for our Nation and world. Many Christians are spiritually weary, dry and burdened, much like parched land waiting for rain in need of a divine encounter with the Presence of God.

Sermon

They are caught in an era of geopolitical and economic fragmentation, social unrest and personal woes; and many are contemplating the viability of their own lives and families’ futures. Spiritually dry, their prayer-life is disconnected and ineffective, study of the Word of God is almost nonexistent, they are emotionally exhausted, ever increasingly irritable, and barren in the production of spiritual fruit of soul winning and powerless to encourage and refresh fellow believers.

Their original zeal, enthusiasm for God and passion for Faith is gone. And, even our most resonant preaching and highest songs of praise cannot seem to break the deep, spiritual slumber paralyzing many Christian souls. Oh, how they need Times of Refreshing; a Holy Ghost-Gusher!

By Times of Refreshing, I mean every person (saved and sinner) needs to receive Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord, and be filled with the Baptism of the Holy Ghost, evidenced with speaking in other tongues, as the Spirit of God gives utterance. (John 3:16 & Acts 2:38-39) From the White House and halls of Congress and coast to coast, we all need to be baptized in the Holy Ghost and fire! Not just a one-time filling of the Holy Ghost, but continual refilling throughout the Christian journey. Moreover, we should also expect our children and family members to receive Times of Refreshing from the Holy Ghost upon expressed Faith in Jesus Christ, just as we are to receive them.

Scripture presents the gift of the Holy Ghost as the essential empowerment for a transformed life, Promised to all believers, not just the first-century Church. According to Acts 2:38, the Baptism in the Holy Ghost is not merely an optional, extra blessing, but a part of the “foundational experience” of a believer’s conversion. I say again, the Holy Ghost is not an optional gift; He is our designated Comforter and Helper (John 14:26), and the sole-Source of Wisdom and Power for effective Christian living and witness in the earth. (Acts1:8)

Many within Christian Circles and Americans at large may bristle at my next statements, but they are Truth: The Baptism of the Holy Ghost is our divine-Anchor; to move away from it is to let our Nation drift into godlessness, as it has done. A nation that shuns the “Fire” of the Baptism of the Holy Ghost forfeits its position as a “Nation under God,” and one that can claim “In God We Trust,” no matter which political party is in power, or how many anthems and songs we may create attesting as such.

The Holy Ghost is the sole-Agent, the consuming fire that melts hearts of stone and turns a nation to Christ as Savior. The Holy Ghost’s Fire is the purifying Agent that removes idolatry and causes a nation to recognize Jesus as Lord. No political movement nor government can save us; only the Gospel of Jesus Christ!

Praise God, if America truly walked as God’s own, our land would be submerged in the Holy Ghost, yielding harvests of love, righteousness, peace, and joy. (Rom.14:17 & 5:5) Our Nation would be free of racial divide, corruption, poverty, calamity, sickness and disease, crime, violence, and war. America would be a country that all nations could point to as God’s own. For Psalm 33:12 states, “Blessed is the nation whose God is the LORD; and the people whom he hath chosen for his own inheritance.”

Now Saints, “Times of Refreshing” only occur when we earnestly and wholeheartedly turn back to God in Christ Jesus through “True Repentance.” Within the spirit (heart) of those who hear and heed the Call of Christ through the preaching of the Gospel, the Holy Ghost shines the Light of conviction. He breaks our hearts and plants new seeds of Repentance, which leads to a profound change of heart; a “Godly Sorrow” that turns us from sin and empowers a “radical” new life in Christ Jesus full of supernatural love, peace, joy, and power for Service unto God. Praise God, Scripture says, “For godly sorrow worketh (produces) repentance.” (II Cor.7:10) Yes, “Godly Sorrow” for sin-action is where we experience “spiritual connectivity” with our Heavenly Father; it’s our “sweet-spot” with God. We will delve deep into this next week. You don’t want to miss it.

I emphasize Saints, True Repentance is a “radical”180-degree turn, where you know (and others can see) that you have truly changed because the scenery of your life—its direction, choices, and pace—is entirely different from the path you abandoned. It is not merely feeling sorry about committed sin, but a total, visible transformation of heart, behavior, and performance that mirrors the life of Jesus Christ in daily living. A life that perceives the practice of sin as nothing more than dead works and a waste of time, and serving God as a joyous Grace-led privilege. And, the aroma from the believer’s True Repentance (obedience to Christ’s Commandments) yields a “sweet smelling” savor unto God our Father.

Praise God, I don’t care what denomination or non-denomination nomenclature a Christian attests, the Holy Ghost’s Refreshment is a universal need. Within our Churches we have permitted hatred and deep division to coexist with our professed Faith in Jesus Christ, which blocks and turns off Times of Refreshing God has prepared for us to receive while in His Presence; as He patiently waits for True Repentance and fellowship throughout the Body of Christ. Prosperity, divine healing and health, and many other supernatural good things remain absent from the Church, and lives of many believers, because of the willful hiding of secret sin. (Prov.28:13)

Frankly and sadly speaking, in Christian Circles today, we have become sophisticated religious performers, masterful at staging worship but amateurish in “brokenness,” substituting worldly sorrow for the deep Repentance that changes us. Godly Sorrow is a lost treasure in our Churches; we have traded true heart-brokenness over sin for a shallow, self-serving performance that keeps us comfortable in our unrepentant state. Comfortable in sundry works of the flesh including sexual immorality, racism, hatred, division, man-made religious practices and humanitarian efforts, while also flouting God’s New Covenant-Commandment to draw near to Him with a “sincere heart.” (Heb.10:22)

Furthermore, we have allowed our digital Sanctuaries (online worship Services) to become living room theaters, reducing Holy worship to a “spectator sport,” all without a hint of True Repentance for our passivity. My, my, my our virtual meetings are increasingly defined by a “camera-off” culture, where born-again Christians routinely log in late and leave early, disengage from participation, withhold offerings, and go through the motions like hollow, “whitewashed tombs."

Saints everywhere, let’s lay aside denominational barriers and recognize our “mutual dependence” on the comforting Presence of the Holy Ghost, and receive Him just as the Holy Bible teaches of His Promise. Throughout the Body of Christ, God is Calling for True Repentance, to turn away from pride, self-sufficiency, complacency, apathy, and the secret sin. Saints, God wants His People to receive a “New Pentecostal” experience with a fresh Baptism of Fire to transform us into the new life Christ rose again from the dead to give to us!

Prior to His Ascension into Heaven, Jesus Promised the Apostles saying: For John truly baptized with water; but ye shall be baptized with the Holy Ghost (and fire) not many days hence. (Acts 1:4-5 & Matt.3:11) Saints, have you experienced the Baptism of the Holy Ghost and Fire? It’s not just a past event, but a continuous abiding in His Presence—most often unlocked by a heart of True Repentance. So many Christian denominations and Churches refuse to teach and practice the Baptism of the Holy Ghost evidenced with speaking in tongues, as an event separate from water baptism.

Many have overlooked the distinct pattern in the Book of Acts, starting with the 120-believers in the Upper Room, where the Baptism of the Holy Ghost is a separate, empowering event following conversion. (Acts 2:1-4, 2:38, 8:12-17, 9:17, 19:1-6) Oh Saints, the Gifts and Callings of God are irrevocable (permanent)! (Rom.11: 29) What God in Christ poured out on the first Century Church He is still doing today! The Baptism of the Holy Ghost is the crucial Baptism of Power Promised by Jesus to empower the believer for witness and service. (Acts 1:8)

Churches and Christians who deny the necessity of this Baptism must “Repent” and return to God, for they are not aligned with God’s Holiness and cannot experience Times of Refreshing from the Presence of God. In ignorance they lie against the Truth about Jesus; that He is the same yesterday, today, and forever! To deny the Holy Ghost fire with tongues is to miss out on the opportunity to meet Jesus Christ for one’s own self, erasing all doubt that King Jesus is real! (Acts 3:20) When Christians turn from the Fountain of Living Water, their spiritual walk becomes like a desolate/dry valley—a landscape of the Valley of Dry Bones where apathy, shattered dreams, and dead relationships take root.

The Psychodynamics of Saul Becoming Paul

They are paralyzed in spiritual exhaustion. Yet, the same God who spoke to the Valley can revive us again; only the cool, rushing breath of His Spirit can turn our despair into an army of life. (Ezek.37)

Saints, before going further into this Sermon, let’s humble ourselves before God in earnest prayer for the Body of Christ, and for each of us individually, that a “New Pentecost” movement inspired by the Holy Ghost convict our hearts and minds with “Godly Sorrow” that brings forth True Repentance and washes away our sins and heavy weights (burdens), and gives to us a fresh Baptism of the Holy Ghost with Fire that consumes all that is not of God; allowing us to rise with Christ into a completely new life for the whole world to see.

We petition that the Holy Ghost “breakup” the fallow ground of our hearts and cause us to hunger and thirst after the excellence of Christ’s Righteousness, purify and ignite our hearts, and transform us into living witnesses of Christ Resurrection, even greater than the early believers at the dawning of the Church of Jesus Christ recorded in the Book of the Acts of the Apostles. Father, give us a fresh touch, a fresh outpouring of Fire, to turn our lukewarm hearts into supernatural blazing furnaces of divine Love, Passion, and Purpose to win America and the nations to You through the Gospel. Lord, with uplifted hands we surrender our lives to be transformed by Your Grace into the likeness of Jesus Christ. May our daily transformation be a sweet smelling aroma unto You. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Now, the Apostle Luke wrote at Acts 3:19, Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord.” The Apostle Luke’s writing of Acts 3:19 is set in the bustling, public area of the Jerusalem Temple, specifically Solomon’s Portico, where the Apostles Peter and John by the Authority of the name of Jesus Christ, had just healed a lifelong lame man who had been begging alms at the Gate of the Temple called, “Beautiful.” (Acts 3:1-7)

JESUS, (English), Jesus and Zaccheus

Thereafter, the healed man exuberantly entered the Temple, walking, leaping, and praising God. (Acts 3:8-9) A bewildered massive crowd gathered, and Peter prompted by the Holy Ghost preached that the healing came, not by the will and might of himself and John, but through Jesus Christ whom the Jews had just recently crucified. Saints, listen to Peter’s bold and clarion Message to the people of Israel gathered, recorded at Acts 3:12-20 & 25-26:

12 And when Peter saw it, he answered unto the people, Ye men of Israel, why marvel ye at this? or why look ye so earnestly on us, as though by our own power or holiness we had made this man to walk?

13 The God of Abraham, and of Isaac, and of Jacob, the God of our fathers, hath glorified his Son Jesus; whom ye delivered up, and denied him in the presence of Pilate, when he was determined to let him go.

14 But ye denied the Holy One and the Just, and desired a murderer to be granted unto you;

15 And killed the Prince of life, whom God hath raised from the dead; whereof we are witnesses.

16 And his name through faith in his name hath made this man strong, whom ye see and know: yea, the faith which is by him hath given him this perfect soundness in the presence of you all.

17 And now, brethren, I wot that through ignorance ye did it, as did also your rulers.

18 But those things, which God before had shewed by the mouth of all his prophets, that Christ should suffer, he hath so fulfilled.

19 Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord.

20 And he shall send Jesus Christ, which before was preached unto you:

25 Ye are the children of the prophets, and of the covenant which God made with our fathers, saying unto Abraham, And in thy seed shall all the kindreds of the earth be blessed.

26 Unto you first God, having raised up his Son Jesus, sent him to bless you, in turning away every one of you from his iniquities.

Peter’s Message declared that Jesus (whom the Jews denied, and handed over for death by crucifixion), had risen from the dead and was responsible for the lame man’s healing. Because of this undeniable proof of Jesus' Power and Resurrection, Peter called the people to action, to "Repent," (change their minds/turn around) and return to God. Saints, in that moment, God was waiting for the Jews’ response to the Gospel, to hear the Call from the Holy Ghost to acknowledge their sins, to listen to the promptings of the Holy Ghost and express from within their hearts and minds conviction and “Godly Sorrow” for their iniquities. For again the Bible says, “godly sorrow worketh (produces) repentance that brings forth salvation.” (II Cor.10:7)

God’s Purpose was to have their sins "blotted out" (wiped away) as Christ died to take away the sins of the world (beginning with the Jews and then Gentiles), so that God would send the risen Jesus, the appointed Messiah into their hearts and minds to experience "Times of Refreshing" (spiritual renewal) that comes from the Presence of the Lord. (Acts 3:19)

Essentially, God was Calling the people of Israel to turn from their wicked ways and embrace the finished work of the Cross. True Repentance brings forth a “Holy Ghost Gusher”—a refreshing outpouring of the Spirit of God, that would enable the Jewish believers to step into the blessed inheritance of Abraham through Faith in Jesus Christ. (Acts 3:25-26 & Gal. 3:13-14)

The Blessing of Abraham is the Promise of being “blessed by God to be a blessing,” walking in divine favor and spiritual Righteousness. (Gen.12:1-3) God intended for the Jews (and later Gentiles) to inherit the “Blessing” He Promised to Abraham—not by following the Law of Moses, but by Faith in Jesus Christ (the Seed of Abraham) and Baptism of the Holy Ghost, which would validate them as heirs to Abraham’s spiritual and material legacy! (Gal.3:6-9)

Many of the Jews in Acts 3 who heard Peter’s Sermon following the healing of the lame man (Acts 3:1-10) believed, as indicated in Acts 4:4, which notes the number of men who believed grew to about “five thousand.” While some rejected the Message, others embraced Jesus as the Promised Messiah, repented of their sins and turned to God, and were subsequently Refreshed with the Baptism of the Holy Ghost, (Blessing of Abraham). (Acts 4:31) While the text highlights men, it is widely understood by Bible scholars (likely based on the Promise of the outpouring of the Holy Ghost on families at Acts 2:38-39) that women and children were also part of the early Church, meaning the total number of believers that received Salvation was likely multiple-times higher.

Immediately upon experiencing Times of Refreshing from the Presence of the Lord, these Jewish believers underwent a “radical transformation” (metanoia-True Repentance), turning entirely from the persecution of Jesus, to a life of devotion to Him. The Holy Ghost’s outpouring caused a seismic shift in character and behavior, reversing their hostility, into hearts completely consumed with loving and serving the Resurrected Savior. In Christ, their old lives had passed away, and their new lives were completely opposite. (II Cor. 5:17)

In fact, in Acts 4:31-32, we see the transformative Power of the gift of True Repentance, leading to the fruit (work) of Repentance as the approximately 5,000 converts began themselves to “speak the Word of God with boldness, like Peter and the other Apostles.” This is what happens when believers experience the gift of True Repentance and Times of Refreshing from the Holy Ghost, they become “replicators” of the supernatural gift of God they received.

The new converts were led by the Spirit to proclaim the Gospel everywhere, serving as a courageous response to persecution, and a fulfillment of Jesus’ Promise of Power to serve as witnesses unto Him. (Acts 1:8)  (Note: The Apostles were filled with the Holy Ghost on the Day of Pentecost (Acts 2:1-4), and later Peter and John preached the Gospel and 5,000-plus believers received the Holy Ghost, and became witnesses of Christ too! When Refreshed with the Baptism of the Holy Ghost you cannot keep the Gospel (good news) to yourself, you must tell somebody else!)

Further, Acts 4:32 describes, the early Jerusalem Church as being of "one heart and soul," highlighting a state of profound “Unity” and radical generosity produced by the Holy Ghost. Believers held “all things in common,” viewing their possessions (houses, lands, and other material wealth) not as personal property but as shared resources to meet the needs of others. (Acts 4:34-37)

More specifically, the deep Spiritual Unity the early Church enjoyed implied a deep bond and shared Purpose, where all the believers were united in Faith and thought, not just living in harmony, but actively pursuing it with others. Great Grace was upon the whole Church as the Apostles witnessed the Resurrection of Jesus. And God, beholding the fruit of their True Repentance, inhaled the sweet savor of their obedience. For God delights more in obedience to His Voice than in burnt offerings. The sacrifice God desires is a humble, surrendered heart, not empty rituals! (I Sam.15:22)

The voluntary sharing of possessions was directed by the Holy Ghost opening the bowels of compassion, love, and spiritual conviction, not by political compulsion, state control, or forced equality. Believers did not view their property as "their own," but rather as a trust from God to be used for the Community, ensuring no one among them lacked any good thing. This was a voluntary, sacrificial response to Christ’s teachings on radical generosity, anchored in the Power of the Resurrection and the Abrahamic Covenant, “blessed to be a blessing” to all families of the earth. (Gen.12:3)

Also, this Unity was viewed as a result of the Holy Ghost’s Guidance, which allowed the Jewish converts to focus entirely on preaching, teaching, and testifying about the Resurrection of Jesus giving them supernatural Power to live out the Gospel and fulfill their “Calling” in the face of persecution and tribulation levied by the Jewish and Roman authorities.

This was the second major outpouring of the Holy Ghost, which occurred likely within a few days or weeks of Pentecost when Peter preached the Gospel and called for Repentance and 3,000 souls were converted. (Acts 2:14-39, 41-47) The 3,000 souls were on one accord, in the same manner as the 5,000, “having "one heart and soul," as on that occasion they also sold their possessions and goods and distributed them to every person who had a need; highlighting that “Unity” in the Spirit is the hallmark of the growing Church of Jesus Christ.

My, my my, imagine what the Body of Christ in our Nation would be like today, if all received the Baptism of the Holy Ghost; brotherly love would continue each day from household to household, both rich and poor without ceasing. (Heb.13:1)

Sinful

Each born-again Christian would esteem their brother greater than themselves, actively caring for the well-being of others; putting their needs before personal desires, and acting to help rather than just speaking about it. (Php.2:3-4)

The Mission of Christ’s Church today, is the same as it was when Christ and the Apostles established the early Church, to “Go into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature, he that believeth and is baptized shall be saved and he that believes not shall be damned.” (Mark 16:15-16); “And this Gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations, and then shall the end come.” (Matt.24:14)

The same Jesus who empowered the first Jewish believers is still active, offering the same spiritual "Refreshing" from the Baptism of the Holy Ghost, and radical lifestyle changes today. God is waiting on America, and all other nations of the world, to get the Message of True Repentance, He longs to inhale the sweet smelling savor of turning away from iniquity to Him through Jesus Christ. Data sources estimate there are over 644-million people worldwide identified as Pentecostal or Charismatic Christians who say they believe in, and practice the Baptism in the Holy Ghost, characterized by speaking in tongues, and view the Gift as an empowerment for living a Spirit-filled life.

However, the movement is highly “decentralized,” encompassing over “700-denominations” and many “independent groups.” And, each denomination, Church group, and congregate needs a Time of Refreshing from the Holy Ghost that can only come about by the Holy Ghost shedding Light on our sins of “disunity” and return us to God. We all need the Holy Ghost to convict and reprove us of foolish pride and self-righteousness that only works to keep us apart. We all need to experience “Godly Sorrow” for our division and separateness, given that through Christ’s Sacrifice on the cross, God has made us all “One” in Christ regardless of denomination or other Church affiliation. (Gal.3:28)

The Body of Christ must come to understand that “True Revival” isn't just about filling our pews; it's about breaking through our four-walls to meet Jesus where the people are—in the streets, in our neighborhoods, and in our community, as well as establishing and growing fellowships with other believers and together spreading the Gospel across our Nation and world.

As noted in previous Sermons, the Apostle Paul's command in I Corinthians 1:10 urged believers to be in full agreement, speak the same Message, and avoid divisions; thereby ensuring they are perfectly united in mind and thought. Unity was restored in the early Church by returning to the heart of the Message: Christ crucified, buried, raised, and coming again for His Church—along with the Promise of Baptism in the Holy Ghost and fire. Only the Holy Bible is “Right” and any entity or person who determine to take actions contrary to it are “wrong.” Thus, to the highly fragmented Christian Church in America and around the world I say, “Repent and be converted that your sins may be blotted out when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord.”(Acts 3:19)

The restoration of “Unity” in the Church of Jesus Christ is fundamentally rooted in a return to the core Gospel Message, centered on preaching and teaching the death, burial, resurrection, and second coming of Christ, empowered by the Holy Ghost and unity among all brethren. Holy Scriptures attesting to this focus include Four Interconnected Spiritual Parts that we all must preach:

Part 1 The Core Message: Christ Crucified, Buried, and Raised and Ascended

*1 Corinthians 15:1-4 (NKJV): Paul declares the Gospel as "first of all that which I also received: that Christ died for our sins... was buried, and that He rose again the third day."

* Romans 6:3-5 (NLT): Highlights Unity in death and life: "For we died and were buried with Christ by baptism. And just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glorious power of the Father, now we also may live new lives."

*Colossians 2:12: (Bible Gateway) “Having been buried with Him in baptism, you were raised with Him through your faith in the working of God, who raised Him from the dead.”

*Mark 16:19 (NKJV) "So then, after the Lord had spoken to them, He was received up into heaven, and sat down at the right hand of God."

*Hebrews 10:12-13 (ESV): "But when Christ had offered for all time a single sacrifice for sins, he sat down at the right hand of God, waiting from that time until his enemies should be made a footstool for his feet."

Part 2. The Return of Christ and Rapture

* 1 Thessalonians 4:13–18: The primary Passage describing believers being "caught up" in the air to meet the Lord.

*1 Corinthians 15:51-53: Describes the Resurrection and transformation of believers into immortal bodies in "a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet.

*John 14:1–3: Jesus Promises to return to take His disciples to be where He is.

* 1 John 3:2: Indicates believers will be made like Him when He is revealed.

Part 3. The Baptism in the Holy Ghost and Fire Evidenced with Tongues

* Matthew 3:11: John the Baptist explains to his disciples that while he baptizes with water for repentance, Jesus is the "one mightier" who will baptize with the Holy Ghost and fire.

*Acts 1:8: Jesus Promises that "Power” will be given to the Apostles for fulfilling the Mission of the Great Commission: “But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you.”

*Acts 2:1-4: Describes the Day of Pentecost, where 120-believers " (including the Apostles, Mary the mother of Jesus and the Lord’s siblings) were all with one accord" (unity) and filled with the Holy Ghost, establishing the Spirit-empowered Community.

*Acts 2:38-39: The Promise: Receipt of the Holy Ghost Himself as a divine gift to the believer, enabling a new life and to families and all afar off as many as the Lord calls.

* Acts 2:1-4, 8:12-17, 9:17, 19:1-6: Provide specific examples of Christian converts receiving the Baptism of Holy Ghost, evidenced with speaking in tongues. Jesus Promised all believers would do so upon believing in Him. (Mark16:17)

Part 4 Unity Restored Through the Message

*1 Corinthians 12:13: "For we were all baptized by one Spirit so as to form one body—whether Jews or Gentiles, slave or free—and we were all given the one Spirit to drink."

*Ephesians 4:3-6: Commands believers to make "every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace," centered on one body, one Spirit, one hope, one Lord, one faith, one baptism, and one God.

*1 Corinthians 1:10: Appeals for believers to "live in harmony with each other. Let there be no divisions in the Church. Rather, be of one mind, united in thought and purpose."

In closing, this Message of the crucified, resurrected, and returning Christ, combined with the Power of the Holy Ghost, is presented as the foundation for overcoming division and achieving genuine Biblical Unity. Unity throughout the Body of Christ, both collectively and individually enables God’s People to continually experience Times of Refreshing, and ever increasing growth of the Church throughout our Nation and world with supernatural signs and wonders following.

To every born-again Christian, I encourage you to take a personal spiritual inventory; examine your attitudes, behaviors, and performance to ensure they align with Jesus Christ. Draw near to God and He will draw near to you. (James 4:8) Whether you are in a season of spiritual dryness, complacency, hypocrisy, or walking closely with Christ, humbly ask God to fill you, (drench you, immerse you) with the Baptism of the Holy Ghost and Fire! Expect to meet Jesus Christ not as a distant figure, but as an intimate “Friend” living within you, revealed by the Holy Ghost. Jesus Promised that the Father will give the Holy Ghost to every person who asks. (Luke11:13)

To those Christians who have not yet experienced the Baptism of the Holy Ghost and fire, I urge you right now to lift up your hands and voices unto God, call on Jesus and tell Him you surrender all! Ask the Lord to fill you full with the Holy Ghost and Power, evidenced with speaking in other tongues. Yield to the Spirit of God and open your mouth and let the Spirit of God give utterance as He Wills.

Truly, no person by human intellect nor might can discern nor describe the wonders of receiving the Baptism of the Holy Ghost and fire. For the Apostle Paul wrote that at I Corinthians 2:9, “…Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.” The exceedingly rich Blessings, Plans, and Wisdom God has prepared for those who love Him are beyond human imagination and sensory perception, but are revealed by the Holy Ghost, even the deep things of God. (II Cor.2:10)

Only the Holy Ghost knows of and possesses from God the ordained Purpose, Plans, and Assignments for you to preach the Gospel with boldness with glorious manifestations of spiritual and material blessings and favor upon those who receive your Words in Faith and gladness. But I assure you, once immersed in the Holy Ghost and fire your witness of Christ will become bold and authentic even when persecution arises. Freely you have received the gift of the Holy Ghost and miracle working Power, freely give it away with the laying on of hands.

As we enjoy Times of Refreshing by the Holy Ghost, we must never stop witnessing to the greatness of God’s Grace and Power. With humility and boldness let us share how Jesus transforms us into the precious treasure God the Father intended from the foundation of the world. Our hope is to see America and all nations return to God, walking in the blessing of Abraham, until the Lord Returns.

While we share the Gospel globally and see mixed responses, we rest in the Truth that those who believe are part of God’s Grace (Faithful Elect and Remnant), destined to be Lights of Christ and receive eternal reward. For the Apostle Paul wrote, Even so then, at this present time there is a remnant according to the election of grace. And if by grace, then it is no longer of works; otherwise grace is no longer grace. (Rom.11:5-6)

Knowing God Desires all to come to True Repentance, and is long-suffering towards us, not wishing that any perish, our “Calling” is to faithfully carry the Message of the Cross everywhere, leaving the ultimate count of who receives Christ to Him. Understanding that Salvation is a Work of God, not of human persuasion, therefore we love, invite, and walk alongside everyone, saint and sinner, desiring all to receive Times of Refreshing that come from the Presence of God emanating from True Repentance.

Saints, I pray that your life in every dimension becomes a sweet-smelling savor to God that comes from a U-Turn to Him; so that He may shower you with Times of Refreshing and know Christ in His fullness. Amen for the preaching of God’s Holy Word.
