Module 7: Doctrine of Perfection: “Get on the Road to Perfection, Now!”

Lesson 3: “God Uses Christians Who Live in Perfection to do Great Exploits—Turning the World from Up-side Down to Right-Side Up!”

Part C: When the Church Catches Fire, We Will See Eternal Things, and Do the Greater Works of God!

Before we get started with today’s teaching, I came across this scripture that just blessed my socks off regarding our walk in perfection. Hebrews, 13:20-21 says,

Now the God of peace, that brought again from

the dead our Lord Jesus, that great shepherd of

the sheep, through the blood of the everlasting

Covenant (New Covenant). Make you perfect in

every good work to do his Will, working in you

that which is well-pleasing in his sight, through

Jesus Christ; to whom be Glory forever and ever.

Amen.

As we learned in Lesson 1, by the finished works of Jesus Christ, our born-again spirits have been made perfect by God. (Heb.10:14) In Lesson 2, we learned that we get on the Road to Perfection by walking in love with one another as Jesus Christ loved us. (John 13:34 & Col. 3:14). And, now Hebrews 13:20-21, helps us to understand that as we carry out the “Will of God,” Jesus Christ will also make us perfect in every good work. Wow, that is simply awesome!

Jesus Christ came into the world and revealed the will of God to us. And, this is the will of God that every person who believes on Jesus Christ may have everlasting life, and the Lord will raise those that believe on Him up on the day of His return. (John 6:40) Just think what the body of Christ can accomplish for God, if we all caught fire and had a burning passion to see to it that the will of God is carried out throughout the world?

Think what it would be like if every Church, and Christian alike, came into the full knowledge and understanding that, as we go forth and evangelize the world—turning sinners into true worshippers of the Lord—that Jesus Christ would also be working in us to perfect all of the work of our hands! Everything that we would think, see, and do would all be done to perfection! (Prov. 10:6-7 & Deut. 28:12) Our churches would become “Perfect Churches,” that continually go about doing the extraordinary works of God and impacting the world we live in.

I believe that every born-again Christian, and for that matter, the vast majority of people in the world (Non-Christians) would love to become active members of churches that are, “World Impacting.” Churches that routinely demonstrate the mighty power of God to achieve God-good results—bringing supernatural change to the ills of our society, lands, atmosphere, and environment throughout the world.

As we learned last week, all of the evil we see and experience in the world is caused by demonic influence, but the Church has been given Spiritual Authority and dominion to conquer and reign over it all. (Luke 10:19) So what exactly will it take for the body of Christ, the Church, to exercise its Spiritual Authority and turn the world from upside down to right side up—to become truly “World Impacting Churches?”

The answer is:

“The Church must Catch Fire, and then it will be able to see the eternal things of God, and will go about doing the greater works of God, for a witness to all people that Jesus Christ is Lord.”

Let me say from the outset, that the world we live in will never be as it was in the Garden of Eden, before Adam sinned against God. This world is steadily decaying and dying, and will eventually be destroyed with fire. Knowing this, as Christians, we instead look forward, with rejoicing, for the coming of a new heaven and earth wherein we will dwell together with the Lord in righteousness and peace forever. (II Peter 3:9-13)

We should never lose sight of the fact that there are people in this world who are desperately wicked, and who are determined to become even more so in their deeds, as we see the day of our Lord approaching. The Bible clearly tells us about the state the world will be in at the time Jesus Christ returns. (Matt. 24:12, 37-39, Rom.1:18-32 & II Tim. 3:1-5) With certainty, we can count on continual tribulation in this world because of mankind’s appetite for sin. (John 16:33)

As such, when I talk about the Church turning the world from upside down to right side up, I am saying that God has a “Remnant” within the body of Christ, of born-again Christians, who have been graced with a calling and passion for fulfilling God’s will and plan on earth. (Romans 11:5)

In the hearts of the Remnant, the love of God burns as fire shut up in their bones. The Remnant will move in a deeper revelation of God’s love, and how to appropriate His love throughout the Church and humanity—unlike our churches today have ever seen. (Romans 5:5)

It is from the Remnant that great moves and displays of the power of God will be manifested before masses of people in the world, and many will repent and surrender their hearts to the Lord, with thanksgiving and praise. These are works of God that have never been seen or heard of before in the earth. Works that were destined to be performed by a chosen people before the world began by the foreknowledge of God. (Eph.1:3-4 & 2:10, I Pet. 2:9)

I believe the Remnant is before us now, and that you and I are a part of it. I believe God has chosen you and given you power to do the greater works of Christ—supernatural works ordained before the world began! I’m talking about creative miracles and restorative works greater than any before recorded in the Bible. The Remnant has been called to surpass all the former works, and put on full display the manifestation of the fruit of the Spirit, and gifts of the Spirit. Even beyond those listed in Scripture! (Gal. 5:22-23, I Cor. 12: 7-11, & Romans 12:5-8)

Christians have no idea about the glory of God that has been deposited in their born-again spirits. (Romans 8:18-19) Such magnificent power to turn every evil thing in the earth, into a good thing! When the Church is raptured we will finally see and have full knowledge of all the glory God placed in our spirit man, from the day we got born-again. (I Cor. 13:12-13) Glory that should have been put on display before the people of this world in our lifetime, we will see in full when we get to heaven. Glory that we should have taken advantage of, if we had only made it our lifestyles to love every person as Jesus Christ loved us.

Nevertheless, the Remnant will go about doing these great works and bringing forth much fruit to gather a great representation of souls of true worshipers of God from every ethnic group in the world. Remember this: every good and perfect gift God gives to us always accomplishes its purpose. (James 1:17 & Isa. 55:6-11).

One of the most precious gifts God has given to the Church is the 5-fold ministry. God has given to us some apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, some pastors, and some teachers. (Eph. 4:10-16) I believe the Remnant will be led by “some” members of the 5-fold ministry who recognize by the unction of the Holy Ghost that they are all called by God to work together as “One Church;” to grow the Church of Jesus Christ into a Perfect Man.

The Remnant is not hierarchical! No one church leader will be greater than another. Each leader will see themselves as equals with other leaders and servants of Almighty God—called to work together as an extension of Jesus Christ, to fulfill God’s will and plan on earth.

These leaders will not recognize, nor tolerate the promotion of denominationalism, which only leads to tunnel vision in worship of God, and dulls our spiritual senses in understanding how we are to walk in love with one another, as Christ loved us. Denominationalism keeps us from expressing our true divine nature with God. Denominationalism divides the Church, and any house that is divided against itself cannot stand. (Matt. 12:25) Do you know why the house cannot stand? Because the devil is being given refuge in that house!

The Apostle Paul even warned the Church to have no fellowship with those who cause divisions and offences contrary to the doctrine of Christ. (Romans 16:16-18)  Loving one another as Jesus Christ has loved us is the foundation of the Lord’s doctrine! The Remnant will avoid churches and people who profess to know God, but refuse to obey the Lord’s commandment to love one another. Instead, the Remnant will keep churches and Christians in prayer who refuse to walk in love, so that they may be rescued from the dead and dead works!

I know what I am preaching sounds radical, but tell me, what would keep people who profess to know and love Jesus Christ from fellowshipping with other church denominations who claim to know Jesus Christ? For example, why would Southern Baptist Christians refuse to have active and regular fellowship with Methodists Christians, and vice versa? Likewise, why would Pentecostal Christians refuse to have anything to do with Episcopalian Christians?

Only Satan would work to keep us apart from each other. Only Satan would tempt the minds and hearts of Christians to think that their church denomination is the sole holder of all truth, the only people who love and know God, and are on their way to heaven. Every Christian and church denomination needs to wake-up and come into the knowledge of God, “that new wine is found in the cluster, and not in one grape!” (Is. 65:8)

However, the Remnant are truce makers who will go throughout the world seeking to make loving and holy alliances with other Church leaders and their congregations. The Remnant will not see Christians as belonging to a religious organization called, for example: Baptist, Methodist, Episcopalian, Lutheran, Pentecostal, God in Christ, Presbyterian, Assembly of God, Seventh Day Adventist, Catholic, or any other non-denominational church name. Rather, they simply will see every born-again person as “One in Jesus Christ, membered to the Church of Jesus Christ!” (I Cor.12:12-27)

James R. Eby, author of the book entitled, “World Impacting Churches” said, “that in order for ordinary churches, to become world impacting churches, Jesus’ Commission must become an obsession for the Church.” He added that:

“The Body of Christ around the world, each part,

will have to do its part. Thousands of churches,

ministries, and organizations across the earth must

catch fire with this vision to complete the Great

Commission and unite our hearts, our prayers,

our strategies, our efforts, and our resources in

order to see it happen.”

Eby puts his finger right on the solution. The Church must unite in spirit, prayer, strategies, efforts, and resources. The only way this can be achieved is if the Church (Remnant) gets a revelation of loving one another as Jesus Christ loved us!  When Jesus died on the cross, He loved us and died for all of us. So why can’t we all love each other?

The Remnant will fully comprehend that Jesus Christ gave His life for us, therefore, the Remnant will lay down their lives for every brother and sister in Christ and the people of the world. Every church that is a part of the Remnant will look upon another church and see it as greater than itself.

When the leaders of the Remnant teach and practice the love commandment with all diligence to their congregations, then the Holy Ghost will ignite with fire and power the hearts of the Remnant to go forth together as “One Body” to fulfill the Great Commission, with the greater works of Jesus Christ following them as never seen before. (John 16:13-15)

The Remnant will be possessed with praying together in the Holy Ghost for the salvation of mankind. Just as this entire gathering of the Remnant is separate from anything thing the traditional Church world has ever known, so will the prayer life of the Remnant be with God.

The collective and unified prayers of the Remnant will go far beyond speaking in unknown/other tongues, but mount-up and turn into burning “groanings,” which cannot be spoken. Groanings, which include deep and intense feelings of indignation regarding the pains and sorrows of people and all that creation has suffered at the hands of Satan and the kingdom of darkness. In turn, the Holy Ghost will be impassioned and emboldened to make intercession with the Remnant to release the resurrection power of Jesus Christ, and usher in the will of God in many places in the earth. (Romans 8:26-31)

As the Remnant offers up prayer in the Holy Ghost, many Christians will turn from their iniquities and come back to church. Non-Christians will hear the preaching of the gospel, be touched by the Holy Ghost, delivered out of the fires of addiction, and saved by the blood of Jesus Christ. (Jude 20-23 & I John 5:16)

In many places around the world, the Remnants’ prayers and preaching of the Gospel of Jesus Christ will lift and remove demonic strongholds that once occupied; territories, lands, and cities with worship of false gods and witchcraft. And, the blessing of Abraham will hover over and rest on these places, and the people and lands will rejoice in the God of our salvation!

Please know this: The more the love of God is shared among all Christians and with Non-Christians, the more our spiritual vision will increase; giving us an ability to see the eternal things that God has prepared for those who love Him. (I Cor.2:9-15) And, the more we see in the spirit, the more powerful works we will do. (John 5:19-20 & II Cor. 4:18)

Here is the best news of all. As born-again Christians, we do not have to wait for the worldwide movement of the Remnant to begin, and reach us, before we start working to turn the world right side up! No way!

We are on the road to perfection and know who we are in God in Christ Jesus. We are the sons of God. (John 1:10-13). We have been made equal with God and commissioned to do the works of God. (Phil. 2:5-6 & Eph. 2:10). We overcome the world and all of its chaos and foolishness because we are born of God. (I John 5:4-5) We are more that conquerors through the love of Christ. (Rom. 8:37)

Our mass weapon of destruction that tears down and destroys all the evil works of the enemy is love, which never fails. (I Cor. 13:8) Our lifestyle is love, and we have received a name change, as we are called: “Love, Forgiveness, and Kindness.” (Eph. 5:1-2, &4:32) So as we have received Jesus Christ, so shall we forever walk in Jesus Christ! (Col. 2:6) Feel free by the grace of God to think, see, talk and behave like Jesus Christ!

Now watch this. Look in your born-again spirit and see mankind—anybody and everybody. Notice there is nothing but love for everybody, including your enemies, and especially for those who know the name Jesus Christ (Christians). (Romans 12:10) We will go forth and make holy alliances and fellowships with all Christians who are willing to love every person as Jesus Christ loved us.

This is what Exousia Ministries, Inc. is all about. Reaching out to every church denomination and non-denomination, and encouraging us all to become “One in Christ,” so that we mirror the eternal seating of us all in heaven. We desire to unite our hearts, prayers, strategies, efforts, and resources as “One” to fulfill the will and plan of God to gather souls from every ethnic group in the world to become true worshippers of God.

We have the power of the Holy Ghost in us. (Acts 1:8) We have multitudes of angles that God will dispatch on our behalf to turn places right-side up in our area of worship, and far beyond. (II Kings 6:16-18) Let’s work to build-up the Remnant—a league of churches and saints—who desire only to get on one accord to fulfill the Great Commission, so we can draw all men to Christ, and take back all that the devil has stolen. We shall come rejoicing, ringing in the shelves!

Finally, please examine I Corinthians 3:21-23, from the Message Bible shown below:

I don’t want to hear any of you bragging about

yourself or anyone else. Everything is already

yours as a gift—Paul, Apollos, Peter, the world,

life, death, the present, the future—all of it is yours,

and you are privileged to be in union with Christ,

who is in union with God.

The Apostle Paul affirmed that by the grace of God; everything in the world, life, death, the present, and the future belongs to the Church (Remnant)—to those who have determined to serve as World Impacting Churches. To those who believe on the name of Jesus Christ and walk in love as Christ loved us.

Since everything belongs to the Remnant, including the present and future—we know that today, tomorrow, and the future is our friend! You ought to boldly say right now, “the present and future is my friend—because I own it!” Jesus Christ has already conquered for us every tribulation and troublesome thing that is to come. (John 16:33)

As such, the Remnant only walks by faith in the finished works of Jesus Christ. The Remnant has no regard for fear, torment, stress, anxiety, and the cares of this world. The Remnant understands that Satan and the kingdom of darkness own nothing in this world, but a bad name! Satan and all those that belong to him have an eternal destiny and inheritance, called the lake of fire and brimstone with torments. (Rev. 20:10)

Let’s move onward and upward Exousia Ministries, as a World Impacting Church, to extinguish unholy fires that are burning in the world, to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ, and gather true worshippers of God from every ethnic group for the end-time harvest. Amen!
